This week, Yekaterinburg hosted the third International Festival of Creative Industries—a large-scale event bringing together representatives of the fashion, film, IT, and other creative industries from 11 countries. Over 4,000 people from around 40 Russian regions registered to participate. Among them was Dolce Moon, a Murmansk-based clothing brand with a northern feel. Its founder, Maria Amelina, participated in the festival from August 24 to 26, 2026, as part of interregional cooperation with the Murmansk Region Export Support Center.
"My colleagues from the Export Support Center approached me and invited me to participate. The organization was top-notch—from the stand setup to the on-site navigation. We didn't just showcase our products; we held constructive negotiations and established real contacts for export development," noted Maria Amelina.
At the festival, the brand presented its new "Flowers of the Arctic" collection—vests with cloudberry and cotton grass prints, crafted from boiled cotton, the same material the brand uses for pajamas and summer suits. The new products received high praise from both attendees and professional buyers.
A key highlight of the extensive program for the entrepreneur was a trade and purchasing session with representatives of multi-brand retailers from the CIS and neighboring countries. As Maria Amelin noted, following the event, preliminary cooperation agreements were reached with partners from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the UAE.
Since 2019, the Murmansk Region Export Support Center has been providing entrepreneurs with comprehensive support at virtually every stage of the export transaction: from finding foreign buyers and product certification to transporting goods and organizing participation in international events. Most services are provided as part of the national project "International Cooperation and Export."
One of the Center's most popular areas of work is international exhibitions and festivals. These events allow entrepreneurs to meet in person with potential foreign partners, present their products, and negotiate foreign trade contracts. In 2026, with the Center's support, regional companies already participated in the Prodexpo exhibition in Moscow, the 10th Russian-Chinese Expo in Harbin, and the Food Industry exhibition at BELAGRO.
Both experienced and aspiring exporters can contact the Murmansk Region Export Support Center. Information about upcoming events and available support measures is posted on the website https://www.export51.ru/
