On June 26, 2026, a "successful practices marathon" was held via videoconference with the administration of the Moskovsky District of Minsk. Deputy Head of Murmansk Andrei Aleksandrovich Kostin, representing the Murmansk city administration, welcomed his colleagues from Minsk.
Minsk, a city in the Republic of Belarus, is a sister city to Murmansk. For 11 years, trade, economic, and cultural cooperation between Murmansk and Minsk has been growing and strengthening. Regular exchanges of working visits have become a well-established tradition of cooperation between our cities.
The "successful practices marathon" addressed two main issues:
– youth policy at the level of Murmansk and Minsk;
– experience in handling citizens’ appeals in the Murmansk city administration and in the Moscow district administration of Minsk.
We hope that this online meeting, which will focus on exchanging experiences in youth policy and responding to citizen requests, will contribute positively to the expansion of the partnership between Murmansk and Minsk, and that the "marathon of successful practices" will kick off a series of video conferences to exchange experiences in education, culture, social support, and other areas of our lives.
