A delegation from the Murmansk Region is participating in the 6th International Tourism Forum "Travel!"—a key global event for the Russian tourism industry. The forum, held from June 10 to 14 at VDNKh in Moscow, brings together industry professionals and a broad audience of travelers. The number of visitors is expected to exceed half a million.
The Murmansk Region delegation is led by Deputy Governor Alexandra Kondaurova. The delegation includes representatives of the regional Ministry of Tourism and Entrepreneurship, the Agency for Tourism Development and Promotion of the Murmansk Region, tour operators and hoteliers, as well as industry infrastructure representatives from Monchegorsk and the Pechenga Municipal District.
The unique format of the "Travel!" forum allows regions to showcase their tourism potential and the diversity of their tourism offerings. Booths will represent over 80 Russian regions and over 20 foreign countries.
The color and style of the Murmansk Region's stand is built around the theme of Arctic water and the wave as a unifying symbol. The wave defines the structure's unique shape and links images of northern seas, lakes, movement, and travel. The blue color, flowing shapes, regional map, large typography, and decorative elements attract attention and are sure to leave a lasting impression. The stand introduces key tourist routes in the Murmansk Region, historical and cultural sites, natural attractions, and Arctic cuisine—all the things that attract visitors to the region. Visitors to the stand will also be offered signature ice cream, gifts, and souvenirs for participating in stand activities and following the region's official social media accounts.
Forum attendees can continue their exploration of the North at the House of Russian Cuisine, where they'll receive a 20% discount on the Murmansk Region corner menu from the ARCTIC MOON project with special coupons, as well as Arctic cuisine master classes.
The business program of the international forum "Travel!" includes over 40 events and 300 speakers. One of the highlights will be the plenary session "Development of Tourism and Hospitality in Cities with High Scientific and Technological Potential. The Position and Opportunities of Large Businesses." During this session, Vice Governor Alexandra Kondaurova will discuss the Murmansk Region's journey from resource export to experience export.
