Johannes Badenhorst's media project is being implemented jointly with the city-forming enterprise of Miass – the Ural automobile plant, one of Russia's leading manufacturers of trucks.
Murmansk is the starting point for the travel show "Voetspore." The expedition's route will also include Vologda, Vladimir, Moscow, Voronezh, Volgograd, Kazan, Miass, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Gorno-Altaysk, Irkutsk, Chita, Yakutsk, and Magadan. The project is expected to produce 13 documentaries, designed to introduce the international community to Russian culture, traditions, architecture, and nature. "Voetspore" is a travel program that has been airing since 2000.
Over the past 26 years, 18 episodes, each containing 13 one-hour episodes, have been produced, covering the African continent, South America, India, and Madagascar. Expedition participants received polar explorer passports and commemorative gifts and took a tour of Murmansk.
On May 9, a film crew from the travel show "Voetspore" took part in filming the Victory Day Parade in the hero city. The guests from South Africa expressed their gratitude for the opportunity and noted that it was an honor and a responsibility, a chance to pay tribute to veterans, honor the memory of the fallen, and feel part of a profound history.
Immediately after this, the participants set off on a journey along the planned route to Magadan to capture the unique landscapes and spirit of Russia for foreign viewers.
