Governor Andrei Chibis met with renowned Belarusian Paralympian and motivational speaker Alexei Talai. A four-time world and five-time European record holder in swimming, a member of the Belarusian Paralympic team, businessman, public figure, and father of many children, Talai has been inspiring people around the world for many years. The governor invited Talai to the Murmansk Region during his visit to the Republic of Belarus in March of this year.

"You have a busy program ahead of you, and I'm glad that northerners had this opportunity to meet and connect. Your strength, spirit, and wisdom are impressive. You've become a support for others; this is a true mission, one that comes from the heart. Despite difficult trials and injuries, you move forward, leading thousands of people, helping the children of Donbas, and supporting our soldiers returning from special operations. They are motivated, their spirit is strong, but demonstrating their potential is crucial. "The topic of starting a family is also extremely important – your example is inspiring," the governor emphasized.

In the region, Alexey Talai will hold events with youth and children, participants in the special military operation, and will also visit a number of educational and sports institutions. Alexey Konstantinovich thanked the governor for the opportunity to get to know Murmansk and the Murmansk region.

"This is a strategically important region for Russia and our union state. I am very impressed with the region and what your team is creating here: you all work with full dedication. I am very pleased that cooperation between our countries is growing stronger. It is especially valuable for me to talk with soldiers who have returned from the fields of the special military operation. My goal is to show them that anything can be overcome, that there are many opportunities to engage in various processes of civilian life, to prove themselves in sports, business, and to start a family. This is a significant chapter in everyone's life, a significant task for Russia and Belarus," Alexey Talai emphasized.

Following the meeting, the governor presented Alexey Talai with the honorary badge "For assistance and support during the special military operation 'We Don't Abandon Our Own.'"

"This is a sign of gratitude from all of us for his enormous contribution to the common cause, for the fact that Alexey Konstantinovich finds the right words for our children, helping them believe in themselves and find new meaning in peaceful life," the governor noted.
