In accordance with the Action Plan for the Development of Cooperation between Murmansk (Russian Federation) and Harbin (People's Republic of China) for 2026, the event "Intertwining Cultures. A Decade of Friendship" was held in March. The event involved introducing schoolchildren to the cities of Murmansk and Harbin and their cultural traditions.
Schoolchildren from the sister cities carefully prepared to create "video postcards": they recorded video greetings and performed musical pieces reflecting the character and culture of their people.
A screening of the "video postcard" by Chinese peers took place in art schools in Murmansk and generated great interest
among Murmansk schoolchildren.
This event marked the beginning of the implementation of cultural activities within the framework of the Plan signed for 2026.
