The Murmansk Region Cluster Development Center is organizing an online training course, "China Friendly," for regional hospitality companies participating in the tourism and recreation cluster
All hospitality businesses are eligible to participate.
This training may further facilitate the process of obtaining a certificate of compliance with the China Friendly standard for hotels, restaurants, cafes, and other tourist attractions. This standard is designed to create a comfortable environment for Chinese tourists in Russia and improves service quality through staff training, appropriate information support, product/service adaptation, and the availability of payment options through Chinese financial services.
The training will take place from May 20-22. The following topics will be covered:
Peculiarities of national psychology, ethical norms, and etiquette in China;
Behavioral patterns of Chinese tourists across generations, social groups, and provinces;
China Friendly standards for tourism service providers;
Practices for welcoming Chinese tourists;
Etiquette for interactions between hotel staff and Chinese tourists;
Typical questions and requests from Chinese guests.
Participants of the training who successfully pass the final test will receive a certificate of advanced training.
The training is fee-based. The cost per participant is within 7,500 rubles. The number of places is limited. Only full-time employees of an enterprise a member of the tourism and recreation cluster of the Murmansk region can take part in the training. A mandatory requirement is a completed secondary or higher education.
