The dates for the OMR forum in 2026 have been set

25 March 2026

The International Exhibition and Conference on Shipbuilding and the Development of High-Tech Equipment for the Development of the Arctic and Continental Shelf (OMR) will run from October 5–9, 2026, in St. Petersburg.

The OMR Forum is a key platform for showcasing cutting-edge technologies in Arctic shipbuilding. The event aims to address strategic challenges in the fuel and energy sector – the development of Arctic and offshore oil and gas resources.

The Forum will bring together government officials, industry leaders, leading experts, and practitioners for a professional discussion on the development of the continental shelf and the Arctic region as a whole, as well as a showcase of new solutions and opportunities in offshore oil and gas production at the exhibition.

Plenary Session 1, "Strategic Goals and Objectives of the Oil, Gas, and Mining Complexes to Ensure Sustainable Development of the Arctic Zone and Continental Shelf of the Russian Federation," will be held on October 5 at the Mariinsky Palace.

From October 6–9, the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre (Pavilion H, Entrance H3) will host an exhibition display and business events, including Plenary Session 2, "Strategic Goals and Objectives of Shipbuilding and Technical and Technological Support for the Development of Mineral Resources in the Arctic Zone and the Continental Shelf of the Russian Federation," 18 roundtable discussions, and a Youth Session dedicated to training personnel for shipbuilding and offshore oil and gas production.
As usual, the OMR forum will host the summing up and awards ceremony for the winners of the International Competition for Scientific, Scientific, Technical, and Innovative Developments Aimed at the Development and Exploitation of the Arctic and Continental Shelf, organized with the support of the Russian Ministry of Energy.
