On November 14, the grand opening of the new BELAZ technical support center took place in the city of Apatity. This significant event highlights the cooperation between the Government of the Murmansk Region and the Republic of Belarus and is an important step in strengthening the industrial potential of the region.
"As part of a mutually beneficial partnership in 2023, during the visit to the Murmansk region of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Golovchenko Roman Aleksandrovich and representatives of enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, a cooperation agreement was concluded between the Government of the Murmansk region and OJSC BELAZ. And today, the BELAZ technical support center has already been opened, which is an indicator of our cooperation," noted Svetlana Panfilova.
The new center, equipped with modern diagnostic equipment and highly qualified personnel, will significantly improve customer service, reduce equipment downtime and ensure maximum efficiency of the region’s mining enterprises.

The opening of regional Technical Support Centers provides direct access to BELAZ branded service for end users, ensures efficient and uninterrupted operation of quarry equipment and increases the economic efficiency of its operation, as well as the production indicators of enterprises, reduces transportation costs for users of large-sized equipment, and reduces the cost of providing services.
"Today we opened a technical support center in the Murmansk region. About 300 units of equipment are used in this region. And of course, any equipment, even high-quality and reliable, requires appropriate maintenance, which must be performed in a timely manner and in a short time. We work to ensure that our client is completely satisfied, increases the efficiency of using our equipment – and this is the number one task for us. We will continue and increase cooperation with the Murmansk region," said Sergey Lesin, General Director of BELAZ OJSC.
During the event, BELAZ OJSC signed an agreement with Karelsky Okatysh JSC on the intention to supply 8 BELAZ-75313 mining dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 240 tons in 2024-2025. In addition, AVTOTEKHINMASH LLC signed an agreement with Olkon JSC on the intention to service and repair BELAZ mining equipment with a lifting capacity of 130 tons.
