The signing of a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Health of the Murmansk Region and the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee took place in the capital of the Republic of Belarus. The goal is to expand and strengthen cooperation between our countries in the field of healthcare.
In accordance with the agreement, interaction on the exchange of experience will develop in the following areas: organization of specialized, including high-tech, medical care in various fields; provision of emergency and palliative medical care and other areas. The agreement involves holding joint conferences and internships for doctors.
“As part of the visit to the Republic of Belarus, a cooperation agreement was signed between our Ministry of Health and the Health Committee of the Minsk City Executive Committee. When we got acquainted with the healthcare system of the Republic, we saw differences: we work in the compulsory medical insurance system, and the Belarusian healthcare system is financed from budgets. But we also found a lot in common, which is expected, because we are connected by a common Soviet past. There are successful practices that we want to adopt from our colleagues, and, of course, we will share ours,” said Deputy Governor and Minister of Health of the Murmansk Region Dmitry Panychev.
The delegation from the region included: Deputy Governor – Minister of Health of the Murmansk Region Dmitry Panychev, Deputy Minister of Health of the Murmansk Region Sergey Chukseev, Chief Physician of the Murmansk Regional Clinical Multidisciplinary Center Evgeny Tarbaev, Chief Physician of the Murmansk Regional Oncology Center Dmitry Kovalenko and Deputy Chief Physician for Surgical Care Murmansk Regional Clinical Hospital named after. P.A. Bayandina Aram Manucharov.
During a business visit to Minsk, the delegation of the Murmansk region got acquainted with the work of the following medical organizations of the Republic of Belarus: Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center, Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology, 6th City Children"s Clinical Clinic, City Clinical Emergency Hospital, 3rd central district clinical clinic of the Oktyabrsky district of Minsk and 24th city clinic for special medical examinations.
