Applications are now open for the All-Russian award "More than a Journey". The award was established by the Rosmolodezh program of the same name, which has been implemented this year as part of the national project "Youth and Children" on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The event is an opportunity for guides, tour operators, representatives of accommodation facilities, industrial enterprises and media content creators to receive all-Russian recognition. Applications will be accepted until September 22 on the official website bolshechempremiya.rf.
The award is presented in three main categories: "People", "Organizations" and "Projects". Among the key nominations:
• "More than a tour" (the best tour projects with an educational and useful component);
• "More than an excursion" (excursions that foster love for the Motherland);
• "More than a hike" (study of cultural and natural heritage);
• "More than an enterprise" (development of industrial tourism and career guidance);
• "More than a point of attraction" (events, places and infrastructure);
• "More than media" (media content about the tourism potential of Russia).
There are also special awards for preserving historical memory, innovation and developing accessible tourism.
After the correspondence stage, the finalists will be able to finalize their projects with mentors and then defend them before the expert council in Moscow. The award ceremony for the winners will be held in December.
