A photo exhibition entitled “From a Bird’s Eye View” has opened at Domodedovo International Airport (Moscow). Murmansk Region is one of the regions participating in the joint project between the airport and the Tutu travel service.
The passenger terminal features 20 large-format photographs demonstrating the beauty of Russia from an unusual angle – from a bird’s eye view. The exhibition includes unique shots from Khakassia, Dagestan, Altai, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Kaliningrad, Chelyabinsk and Murmansk Regions.
Visitors to the exhibition will be able to admire the landscapes of the Tersky District. This is an opportunity for thousands of Domodedovo passengers to discover the harsh beauty of the Kola Peninsula from an unusual perspective. Photos of our region have taken a worthy place among the photos of other iconic natural attractions of Russia, such as tea plantations and Cypress Lake in Krasnodar Region, glaciers of the Polar Urals or gorges of Dagestan.
"The participation of the Murmansk Region in such a significant project as a photo exhibition in one of the key air hubs of the country helps to popularize the region"s tourism potential and attract attention to its unique natural attractions," said Denis Maltsev, Deputy Head of the Promotion and Marketing Department of the Tourism Committee of the Murmansk Region.
Next to each photo, including pictures from the Murmansk Region, there is a QR code: this way you can immediately get to a detailed ready-made travel route around the region on the Tutu website. The route contains a travel program with key locations, reviews and ratings from travelers, addresses, recommendations for cafes and souvenir shops, accommodation options (hotels, guest houses), as well as all the necessary information for a comfortable trip around the Murmansk Region.
The authors of the photos are famous travel bloggers: Andrey Belavin, Sergey Krylov, Sergey Shandin. Unique shots were taken during special "Media Intelligence" info tours organized by the Tutu service for journalists, photographers and bloggers.
The first stage of the exhibition will last until August 27 inclusive and will then change seasonally. It is located on the 2nd floor of the passenger terminal of Domodedovo Airport in the domestic departures area and is available free of charge to all passengers and guests of the airport.
