Today I took part in an online meeting with representatives of the Harbin Foreign Affairs Office. Together with colleagues from the Murmansk Region Government, we discussed prospects for cooperation in the fisheries, healthcare and tourism sectors that are relevant to both sides, as well as new logistics opportunities given the development of the Northern Sea Route, joint events and other issues.
The project of the international ice sculpture festival in Murmansk was also not overlooked. Similar events are held in Harbin annually and attract tourists from all over the world. Chinese colleagues agreed to share their experience and support the organization of the event in our city.
I am confident that close cooperation with Harbin will continue to open up new opportunities for development, knowledge sharing and strengthening of bilateral relations.
