The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade has approved a decision on the procedure for providing compensation for exporters" costs of transporting industrial products in 2025. The Russian Export Center (VEB.RF Group) is acting as the Government"s agent implementing this support measure.
From 2025, state support will be provided based on the results of a competition based on the performance indicators declared by companies for increasing export deliveries.
Business will be able to compensate up to 60% of the costs of transporting industrial products abroad, with the exception of unfriendly states. Companies supplying forestry products from the Siberian and Far Eastern Federal Districts will be able to compensate up to 30% of the costs.
The maximum amount of compensation per company will be 200 million rubles.
"This support measure has proven its effectiveness and is very popular with Russian exporters. Therefore, this year it has also been extended – 5.9 billion rubles will be allocated to support exporters in terms of compensating the costs of transporting industrial products. Of course, support for high-tech exports is a priority; machine builders can count on 70% of the subsidy volume. Also, 25% of the funds will be allocated to products of the forestry complex," clarified State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Roman Chekushov.
"Thanks to the approved mechanism, companies with higher export growth rates will have more opportunities to receive compensation for transportation costs. This approach will improve the efficiency of using budget funds and optimally distribute the allocated resources," emphasized Alexey Solodov, Vice President of the Russian Export Center.
Exporters will be able to apply for state support on the state digital platform "My Export".
