On October 17, 2023, an online meeting between representatives of the administration of the city of Murmansk and the administration of the Moskovsky district of the city of Minsk (Republic of Belarus) took place.
The topic of discussion is the prospects for further cooperation within the framework of the draft Plan of joint activities of the administration of the city of Murmansk and the administration of the Moskovsky district of the city of Minsk (Republic of Belarus).
Deputy Head of the Murmansk City Administration Levchenko L.M. emphasized that over the course of nine years, interaction between the Republic of Belarus and the Murmansk region has been growing and strengthening. Delegations of the sister cities of Minsk and Murmansk visit each other annually: on friendly visits, organize business missions, and participate in joint events in the field of culture, youth policy, physical culture and sports.
The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation, planned events in the field of culture, physical culture and sports, youth policy and patriotic education, and briefly outlined the stages of further implementation of the activities provided for in the draft Plan.
Let us recall that the agreement on the establishment of sister city relations between Murmansk and Minsk was concluded on August 21, 2014.
