On August 12, 2021, in the city of Kaliningrad, a meeting was held by I.S. Kanash with the Deputy Head of the Administration of the City District "City of Kaliningrad", Chairman of the Committee for Urban Development and Digitalization I.N. Shlykov.
The parties discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between the cities. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on concluding an agreement on inter-municipal cooperation between the city of Murmansk and the city district “City of Kaliningrad”. The signing of this agreement will contribute to the implementation of joint programs and activities in the fields of education and culture, sports, tourism, and economics.
The signing is planned for October 2021 as part of the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the city of Murmansk.
