In September this year, the delegation from Murmansk paid an official visit to Minsk (Republic of Belarus) on invitation of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
During the visit, representatives of Murmansk city administration visited the Belarusian Industrial and Investment Forum – 2019, which includes a combination of international specialized exhibitions and a business program dedicated to trends in the development of investment potential, assistance to enterprises and organizations in solving problems of expanding the production of high-tech and competitive products, as well as the development of international interactions.
Murmansk delegation held a number of working meetings in various areas of cooperation, met with the Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Artem Tsuran on joint events dedicated to the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 2020.
Also, within the framework of the visit, was organized a visit to the Belarusian State Academic Theater of Young Spectators in order to organize a tour of the creative team to Murmansk, as well as a return tour of the Children"s Theater School to Minsk.
Representatives of Murmansk city Administration visited MAZ OJSC and held a number of meetings with the enterprise management on the issue of renewing the fleet of buses and trolleybuses of Electrotransport JSC, as well as creating a MAZ service center in the city of Murmansk.
Following the visit, the parties will update the "Action Plan for the Development of Cooperation between the Twin Cities of Minsk and Murmansk for 2020" and signed bilaterally.
Representatives of the Minsk City Executive Committee received an invitation to visit Murmansk in order to present the tourist infrastructure, as well as for the participation of Belarusian athletes in the international sports festival "Gulf Stream".
